Jane Beaudoin brings a lifetime career in Education and Administration to our board of directors. Jane received a Bachelor’s of Arts and a Masters from MSU. She worked for about 40 years on the west side of Michigan in Education, cultivating a great skill set. Jane says coming back to East Lansing to retire was a good idea. The real beneficiaries are the community organizations (including Helping Hands) and events that have received the benefit of Jane’s volunteer activity.
Jane is married to Gary Beaudoin, they have two sons and one grandson who live in California. In her spare time, Jane enjoys reading, knitting, and organizing social events and programs in her condo community.
“My career in public education has taught me that many families are in need of respite care for children as well as adults in their homes. These quality services are very difficult to find and Helping Hands Respite Care is fulfilling its mission to provide such services. It is a pleasure to work with such caring individuals on the Helping Hands Board and put my abilities to good use for such a great organization. Strong families make a strong community!”
